WHAT A GREAT EVENT!!!
We are back and grateful for a fantastic 5 days on the snow out in Les Deux Alpes. This years event saw nearly 400 racers from 21 schools battling it out for the competition in plentiful snow conditions. It was the biggest event we’ve run, and presses home the event’s position as the leading co-educational snow trip for schools in the UK.
Competition wise we had a huge variety of good racers, with the medaille d’or going to Harvey Vans Agnew, who is the first contestant to win both the Boys Slalom, and Giant Slalom, since Sam Todd Saunders (also from Hurst) did the same this for 4 (!) consecutive years.
Wycombe dominated in the girls senior event, with Burgess Hill securing positions in the Juniors.
Noteable mentions to Cranleigh for podium positions after their second year at the end, and to Hurst who had their usual dominance in the individuals, and also to Whitgift who were the top boys team. But once again it was Wycombe Abbey who won the overall team prize for the second year in a row.
